Autumn is a favorable time to go on a trip for those tourists who are not attracted by the dry summer weather and endless heat, which prevents them from getting the most out of excursions and trips to the beach.
The velvet season is an ideal time for such a holiday: the weather is still sunny, but the sun is not so scorching, you can safely visit cultural monuments and attractions without fear of being burned by the scorching rays of the sun in the first few minutes. There are several countries that are most pleasant to visit during the autumn period.
1. Vietnam. It is best to plan your vacation until mid–October, before heavy rains start and the weather is still warm. In September, Vietnam hosts a celebration of femininity and fertility, a colorful event where all residents dress up, dance, have fun and launch thousands of lanterns into the sky.
If it is not possible to visit the country in the first month of autumn, then it is worth planning a visit in October and enjoying the numerous festivals: folk songs, pagodas (Keo), Bak Kyel temple, and see a real bullfight (Haiphong).
The temperature in Vietnam in early autumn will be beautiful in summer – no lower than 27 °C. So lovers of beaches and passive recreation will have time to enjoy their vacation by the sea and get a beautiful tan.
2. Croatia. In addition to the fact that you can enjoy your vacation in this wonderful country without applying for a visa, tourists will be pleasantly surprised by the multi–season nature of the resort - an autumn vacation in Croatia is in no way inferior to popular European countries.
The famous Plitvice Lakes, Krka National Park and the islands of Mljet, Briony, Kornaty – all these masterpieces are created by nature itself and delight everyone with their beauty. In addition to natural resources, Croatia has historical cultural monuments such as Diocletian's Palace, the Pula Amphitheater, the ancient Roman city of Salona, the Palace of Rectors, Fort St. Lawrence, etc.
3. Cyprus. One of the resorts of the Mediterranean Sea, which is favorable for recreation in the autumn period – the rainy season is still a long time away, and the weather in the sea is more than comfortable – about 26 ° C.
The beaches of Cyprus are known for their impeccable appearance – they are pleasant to spend your holidays at any time of the year. Fans of outdoor parties and recreational cafes on the island will love it – there are plenty of entertainment for all ages and walks of life.
The cultural heritage of Cyprus will also leave no one indifferent: the monasteries of Macheras and St. George Alamanu, Limassol Castle, the ancient city of Amathus, the tombs of the kings, the Archbishop's Palace. Natural resources include Aphrodite's bathhouse, Fig Tree Bay, Cape Greco, etc.
4. Tunisia. In September, the holiday season in this country is as comfortable as possible due to the climatic features – the wind subsides, the temperature remains above 32 ° C, but it is well tolerated by all vacationers.
There is a lot to see in Tunis: Carthage, the Colosseum of El Djem, the Bardo Museum, the Cathedral of Saint Vincent de Paul, the fortress of Mazi Mustafa, the mosques of the Seven Sleepers and Zitoun are just a few architectural monuments that excite the mind with their grandeur, power and richness of historical heritage. Among the natural wonders are Lake Schott el Jerid, the Sahara Desert, Djerba Lagoon (where the "sunset child" – pink flamingos like to fly), etc.
Although September is considered the velvet season in Tunisia, from the point of view of economy, this is the most profitable time to purchase travel packages to this country. Travel companies significantly reduce price tags until mid-October, but this does not mean that it is best to buy them after this period. In October, the Tunisian weather changes: the sea gets colder, as does the temperature, and the number of visitors to the resort decreases significantly.
5. Bali (Indonesia). The epicenter of fans of "conquering the wave" – surfers who claim that in autumn there are perfect, "obedient" waves. For ordinary tourists who like to soak up the beach, this is not the best option.
The sea will seem too violent to them, and the waves will seem too high. But that's exactly what surfers who come to Bali in large numbers are trying to "catch".
However, it is worth considering the financial aspects of such a trip – such a vacation, despite some extremes, is not cheap. The most visited attractions of this wonderful resort are. These are monkey forest, rice terraces, bird Park, reptile Park, Pura Luhur Uluwatu and Tanah Lot temples, Kintamani and Batur volcanoes, as well as Gunung Anung, Bali Barat National Park, Ubud Imperial Palace, and do not forget the numerous beaches: Tanjung Benoa, Jimbaran, Legian, Uluwatu, etc.
You can only relax in Bali until the end of October – then the weather deteriorates sharply, because the rainy season begins, and the number of tourists during this period is minimal.
