AMAKS "Yubileynaya" welcomes the heroes of the Spartakiad: the handball tournament in Tolyatti brought together the country's strongest teams

The AMAKS "Yubileynaya" Hotel has become the central point of attraction for the participants of the Russian Peoples' Handball Spartakiad. From August 5 to August 25, Tolyatti hosts men's and women's competitions, and all 24 teams from different regions of the country have chosen our hotel for their stay. Here, athletes, coaches and referees find a full range of conditions for rest, recovery and preparation for important matches.

The tournament is hosted by the Olympus Universal Sports Complex, which is just a few minutes' drive from the hotel. Thanks to convenient transport accessibility, teams can easily get to the venue of the games, and after intense meetings they return to the comfortable rooms of AMAKS "Yubileynaya", where balanced three meals a day are provided for them and all conditions for a good rest are created.

The men's tournament (August 5-14) is attended by 12 national teams formed on the basis of Super League and Major League clubs: Moscow Region, Saratov Region, St. Petersburg, Volgograd Region, Stavropol Territory, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow, Chelyabinsk Region, Perm Territory, Tatarstan, Astrakhan Region, Omsk Region. The women's competition (August 16-25) brought together teams from Moscow, Astrakhan Region, Krasnodar Territory, Udmurtia, Adygea, St. Petersburg, Rostov Region, Samara Region, Moscow Region, Volgograd Region, Stavropol Territory and Bashkortostan. All these teams are accommodated at AMAKS "Yubileynaya", and our staff does everything possible to make guests' stay as comfortable as possible – from early breakfasts to arranging transfers.

Of particular value to athletes is the proximity of the hotel to the Olympus Sports Complex, where the Spartakiad Accreditation center also operates. After the games, guests can use the cozy recreation areas, and if necessary, get help with any household issues. As the participants themselves note, the opportunity to focus on the game without thinking about logistics and everyday life is an important component of success.

Olympic champion, President of Lada Group Irina Bliznova emphasized the importance of the tournament: "Tolyatti handball represents 80% of Russian women's handball, and men's handball has not been seen at this level for many years. The intrigue is that many teams compete without foreign players, with young people – this is a great chance to prove themselves. And it is very important that the children have decent conditions for living and recovery, which are provided to them by AMAKS Jubilee."

Lidia Rogozhinskaya, Minister of Sports of the Samara Region, noted the high level of organization: "The region has a successful experience in hosting major tournaments, and we provide high-quality logistics and comfort for spectators and participants. The hotel base, including AMAKS "Yubileynaya", plays a key role here."
