A column of people with portraits of their relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War will pass along the route, including Cathedral Square, Lenin St., Irtysh Embankment, Victory Boulevard.
A motorcade with Victory songs will pass from Sovetsky Park to the Komsomol 30th Anniversary Park. At 12.00 pm, the festive program "We are soldiers of peace!" will begin in the PCiO. An interactive concert program with an exhibition of retro cars will start there at 14.00.
From 13.00 to 16.00, the DOSAAF Stadium will become a venue for the sports and technical celebration "Salute, Victory!" with demonstration performances of technical sports departments and figure driving.
The most popular venues for festive events with a diverse program will be the territories of the memorial complex "Park named after the 30th Anniversary of Victory" and the Museum-Historical Park "Omsk Fortress". In Victory Park, the civic and patriotic project "One Great Victory" will begin at 12.00 and end at 19.00 with a performance by the vocal group VIVA (Moscow).
On May 9, the Park will be conditionally divided into four thematic zones, which will transport all guests to the atmosphere of the forties through the reconstruction of the filming pavilions, where the frames of famous Soviet films about the war will "come to life." The military historical festival "The Great War - the life of the fortress after the Fortress" will be held in the Omsk Fortress from 13.00 to 18.00. And from 15.00 the patriotic project "Lighthouses of Memory: 80 years of the Great Victory" starts here, it will end at 22.00. A gala concert of the Singing Siberia Veteran Choir competition will be held on the main stage.
