Patriarchal Garden: discover the beauty of Vladimir together with AMAKS "Golden Ring"!

The Patriarch's Garden in Vladimir is a picturesque park located in the historical center of the city. It is a great place for walking and relaxing for citizens and visitors of the city.

The Patriarch's Garden covers an area of more than three hectares and combines elements of several styles. Here you can see a variety of plant species, including rare and exotic specimens. There are several relaxation areas in the garden where you can sit on a bench and enjoy nature.

A special feature of the Patriarchal Garden is the flower displays, which vary depending on the time of the year. Tulips and daffodils bloom here in spring, roses and lilies in summer, and chrysanthemums in autumn. This creates a unique atmosphere and attracts many visitors.

Previously, there were no exotic plants in the Patriarch's Garden, only fruit and berry trees and shrubs familiar to the middle belt: cherries, pears, apple trees and others. Cherries were the priority crop. There were five varieties in the garden: Roditeleva (often called Vladimirskaya), Saika, Belle, Levinka and the famous Vasilyevskaya cherry, bred by the monks of the Vasilyevsky Monastery in Suzdal.

In 2014, a monument to Vladimir Cherry, created by sculptor I.A. Chernoglazov, was erected on Spassky Hill in front of the entrance to the Patriarchal Garden in the city center. This monument has become a symbol of Vladimir and an important part of the walking area on Georgievskaya Street.

The Patriarch's Garden is also a venue for various events such as exhibitions, concerts and festivals. The garden often becomes a popular place for photo shoots and wedding outings.

If you visit Vladimir, be sure to take a walk through the Patriarchal Garden and enjoy its beauty and atmosphere. Discover Russia with AMAKS!
