Yesterday, the grandiose military historical production "Victory Train", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, took place in the recreation area "Ponds" of Gomel. To the sounds of simulated artillery volleys, the park territory turned into a wartime episode that came to life for several hours, attracting hundreds of spectators.
The event culminated in a demonstration of special equipment and weapons of the special purpose militia unit, which aroused great interest among the public. The guests were also able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the past: a field kitchen with traditional soldier's porridge and fragrant tea worked on the site, and legendary melodies of the 1940s sounded from the stage.
