During the Civil War, a radio mast stood in place of the balloon, it was serviced by engineer Zvorykin. In 1919, he emigrated to America, where he invented television.

The street faces directly onto the Irtysh embankment. It will be pleasant to walk along the stormy river both in the afternoon and in the evening. The buildings, whose facades overlook the embankment, can boast of a rich past. The former headquarters of Admiral Kolchak, which was destroyed during the assassination attempt, is located here. The mansion has been restored, and now houses a registry office and a Center for the Study of the History of the Civil War with a museum.
In addition to large facilities and attractions, Omsk boasts many fountains and monuments. There are both playful sculptures and serious ones. The monument to Stepanych the locksmith, the Lyuba statue, the monument to the policeman, Don Quixote, lovers, the statue of the Hungry Artist, the Scales of Existence — this is not a complete list of details that complement the architecture of Omsk.
